Description:

Hundreds of people are awaiting a new flight at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport after their plane had to make an emergency landing for a cracked windshield. The American Airlines flight landed around 3:30 p.m. It originated in Miami and was going to Chicago. The airline sent a statement saying: "American Airlines flight 1090 from Miami International Airport to Chicago O'Hare diverted to Atlanta-Hartsfield International Airport due to a cracked windshield. A new aircraft is currently on its way to Atlanta and is scheduled to arrive at 11:35 p.m. We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience."
